A little bit of background on me for you...
My name's David and I'm a 25 year old Graphic Designer and PC Specialist from just outside London in the UK.
Since the age of 7 I've always been a bit of a creative enthusiast. I think it was all down to my grandad as he was a very creative individual and together we used to have fun working on home video projects and I've always loved trying new and creative things. As I grew older I loved getting hold of a camera and trying different special effects and editing and driving my family bonkers. Then I discovered the power of I.T. and just how essential it is in today's day and age and if you really want something to look spectacular this is the right format.
I started getting even more interested in Media and Design when I attended college in 2002 and completed a 2 year BTEC National Diploma in Media and decided this was definitely what I wanted to get into on a professional level. I then went into working for varied design firms where I enhanced my knowledge and skills further and then developed drjmedia.
From the age of 12 I built my first PC and learnt how to upgrade and develop systems and over time have grown a wealth of knowledge about all systems from old to brand new and how to make them work efficiently and effectively. I also taught myself the best methods in software and hardware and how to troubleshoot PC's completely.
I work within a company called PC Doctor as a sub-contractor so I certainly know a thing or 2 about PCs, their faults and how to upgrade and get the most from your PC. I do this work as and when but don't worry it doesn't effect my website building and other services!
I have been working within Media and IT for over 8 years now and I love it. I've got to a point where I feel I can design and develop pretty much anything and rectify most PC issues without fuss. Put it this way if you have an idea of how you want something to look or function in your mind I can produce it and if you need your PC to work to the best of it's ability I can make it happen.
